Sort order: Buildings are initially sorted by street address. They can be sorted differently on the search results screen, for instance, by year, but if this is done the street address sort cannot be recovered.

 

Street number: This search will not work for range searches, i.e., entering "67" will not find a building with a street number range of "61-73", but will find a building with a range of 67-69

 

Building use: The drop-down list contains a hierarchy of uses, for instance, "Cultural" uses will capture theatres and other cultural buildings, but you can also search on "Theatre" separately from the same list.

 

Former use: Most buildings have no former use. This search is most useful for values like "Residential", "Office", or for mostly obsolete uses such as "Stables" or "Coach house"
