NotesThis building was built as a Baptist church in the 1890's, but quickly became abandoned. By the 1920's, it had been both a community centre and a warehouse. It was purchased by Jewish resident, and was moved to face east at that time. An addition to the front of the building was undertaken in 1924, adding stained glass. The shul was threatened in the 1960's, but in the past 30 years has thrived.
