NotesThis memorial is for Ned Hanlan, who was raised on the Toronto Islands. Hanlan became one of Canada's earliest sports heroes as a sculler, and won the world championships in 1880. This monument was moved ca. 2004 to the Toronto Islands from its former home at Exhibition Place. It is located near the Hanlan's Point Ferry Terminal.
